i bought a rose plant last saturday. white rose plant.. but rather pinkish on 2nd glance..

‘letak bawah panas, kasi silam 3 kali seminggu saja. kalau sudah ada bunga, u kasi trim banyak sikit. kalau layu, u jangan sakit hati. tunggu dulu, 3 bulan baru naik.’ chinese lady in the nursery giving me words of advice.

i NEVER bought any plants before. well, i never had any house. so, i never had the chance to go GREEN with gardening. but this time is different. i have a house now. not one that i can call my own. but it is my permanent home nevertheless..

ma’am was buying baja for her plants. she has more than 50 plants and flower pots around the house. mostly palm trees, bougainvillea, aloe vera and some other plants that didn’t strike my interest. it was a hobby inherited from her late husband.

and suddenly i saw this rose plant, already growing a bud. and i bought it…along with a flower pot.

this morning i saw small rose already coming out of the bud. and a few other buds are appearing. my roses…blossoming!!! i feel so happy
