towards a better nation…or worse?

sounds like a serious post-election topic/discussion. muehehe…

i wanted to give my analysis too…but i guess the election results have been interpreted by many in every possible way.

i’m among those affected since i’m in one of states acquired by the joined coalition. at the moment, we’re anticipating who will become the next mb. and whether perak will become the next penang. we just heard the new penang CM announcing abolishment of the DEB. naturally, that announcement sent malays to the deep concern on the future of penang and later, malaysia. as much as this country is multiracial, it started of as tanah melayu. and we, malays should not be denied our rights.

but i like to quote a comment from my broinlaw. ‘the deb never really benefited malays as a whole anyway. maybe it did. but now, it only benefits certain cronies.’ now, that’s another way to look at it. and this also becomes a turning point for malays to start working hard instead of getting spoonfed all the time. they must learn to earn that position, or education, or tender, or whatever that they are fighting for. malays must be competitive.

but my views are simple. we, malays must be united. not under any political parties, or any states. but, simply under the same religion. If we follow the teachings of Islam correctly, insya Allah, we won’t be facing any of these dilemmas. unfortunately, malays are more interested in power, and money. i’m not talking about any particular party but this applies to all, cos we know that power corrupts people. unless, one has strong faith in Allah.

just my 2-cents…

nway, i’m at the moment bz with my preps to welcome the 3rd member of our small family :)   so far, i’ve got everything down to the hairbrush. ok, maybe he won’t have much hair, but the brush would be good for his blood circulation…hehehe!

but i try to keep everything to a minimum. it’s not advisable to get everything ready cos we never know what might happen in the future. insya Allah, everything will go on smoothly, but just preparing for the worse.

please…pray for me and my baby’s safety…

i can hardly sashay gracefully anymore. it’s more like penguin walk that u watch in Happy Feet haha! not to mention getting sleepy all the time. i must sleep during lunch or i’ll end up being SO exhausted after work. and my darling seems to like parking his head on my left side of the uterus, so i feel pain on my left side after sitting, walking or standing too long. but i’m not complaining (maybe a bit…). he can park anywhere he likes as long as he’s comfy. and mummy will sacrifice mummy’s own comfort, darling…

i’m anxious, u know. i’m just so scared. but regardless, nobody is pregnant forever..haha..so i must be brave for hubby and son..

countdown…28 days more to go..
