we went to visit his aunty, wan chu in padang rengas. she has a nice corner lot single storey terrace house. entering the house somehow create the feeling of being in one of those lovely lace shop – minus the sweet smell. the walls are covered with wall papers – floral motives, and the house were filled with flowers and ribbons. not too much that it’s suffocating, but just nice.. even the simple white curtain separating the kitchen with the dining has this small pink rose buds at every pleats. such a nice touch..

then we were served laksa sarawak with prawns, shredded chicken, sambal. it was delicious but we just had lunch, so couldn’t eat that much.

nway, we went to her husband’s kampung, just 10 mins drive, because they said wanna show me the kampung. but i was just so amazed looking at all the fruit trees, manggis, durian, rambutan, limau barli, limau nipis, buah gelugor. and eating manggis fresh from the trees. and we brought home A LOT of durians that we can make a business out of it!!! i am a big fan of durian!! but can’t eat much anymore. angin!! and rambutans. actually we have rambutan trees in our house compound but still need to take ‘em back home cos we can’t simply take the durians and leave the rambutan behind..

went back home feeling full, just looking at and smelling the durians. called coops to make her jealous, but she’s in that induction thingy..
